Host a conference.

So you are considering hosting your own Thrive! Worship Dance Conference/Workshop.  That's so exciting!  If you are praying one of these prayers:
  • I'd like our church to receive an IMPARTATION for worship in the dance
  • Our current ministry team needs INSPIRATION, a breath of fresh, new ideas to advance our ministry to higher levels and deeper ministry
  • I'd like to see an INFUSION of the Holy Spirit expressed in genuine unity in our ministry team
Then a Thrive! Dance Conference/Workshop may be just what you need!
STEP 1
STEP 1: Venue Info

Step 1:  Host Requirements Survey

Take the Conference Host Survey now.
(only takes 2 minutes - I promise!)

This is where we start.  Complete the survey, so I can get an idea of the venue amenities, local lodging/airport/restaurants (if required), and minimum group size.

#1:  What will will it cost our church/organization to host a conference?

Here is some general information:
​Event dates:  general conferences open to public registration will require a minimum of a 6 month lead time for promotion and marketing.  Private events (for your church or team only) can be determined on a case by case basis.

Event type:  (class descriptions)
  • Workshop - half day:  4 hours of training selected from class descriptions - average cost $25/pp
  • Workshop - full day:  7 hours of training selected from class descriptions - break for lunch - average cost $40/pp
  • Conference - one day:  8 hours of training selected from class descriptions - break for lunch & dinner + evening ministry open to public/church - average cost $55/pp
  • Conference - two day:  one day conference plus second day of training (7 hours) - break for lunch & dinner + evening concert - average cost $80/pp

​Event marketing & registration:  Thrive! will administrate the marketing and registration of a conference.  A dedicated theme for your event, customized poster for printing and social media posting will be emailed upon confirmation (approval in writing from leadership/venue) of event.  You may use these materials to promote your event.  Also included is an online registration link will be included with general early registration, regular registration and at the door pricing and deadline information.

Venue size:  Accommodate 20 - 50 moving people.

Venue amenities:  Is there a platform in the space? Sound system? Wireless hand held mic and lapel/ear mic?  Tables & table cloths for product sales?  etc.

Venue location:  Is the venue near airport, lodging, restaurants, etc.  Is parking available?

Groups size:  The optimum group size is a minimum of 20 for a general conference.  The nature of the conference requires group activities and 20 gives us 4 groups of 5 - very workable for the conference sessions.  Larger groups are easily adaptable to session activities.  Opening event to the public is a great way to reach the minimum group size.

*If this is a private event (for your team only), we can tailor the conference for your needs.

Conference dates and space dedication must be confirmed via email copied to organization/church leadership.  

To ensure the integrity of both Thrive! and your organization, communication is key!

​After completing the Conference Host Survey and hearing from me on potential dates, please approach your pastor or other decision making leadership to confirm dates, times and event space dedication.

Please send me an email confirming all information and make sure you copy your leadership team! 

This ensures:
  • all leadership/pastors know about the event
  • the space will be dedicated for the event
  • the event will occur, as scheduled, to avoid conference cancelation and impact to any registrants who have purchased transportation (airfare, etc) or lodging (hotel prepaid not reimbursable).

A Conference Prep Project Plan will be emailed to you upon event confirmation.  

This will detail all the items that need to be in place and when they should be completed.

This is only a tool. We'll be in contact throughout the planning process, and I am always available to answer any questions that may come up.
